WBMUTBB Silent Auction
Saturday, September 23, 2017
Begins around 10:00 am and ends promptly at Noon
In front of the Andy Griffith Playhouse
(Inside the lower level of the Playhouse in case of rain)
You must be present to claim your high bid
Members of the "Who's Been Messin' Up the Bulletin Board?" internet chapter of TAGSRWC have been creating some great items for the annual Silent Auction to support the Surry Arts Council. There will be lots of one-of-a-kind, hand crafted items, autographed memorabilia, and things you won't find in the stores. Something in everyone's price range. Be sure to stop by and see all the great items available for bid during this year's silent auction and take home something memorable from this year's Mayberry Days.
How does the Silent Auction work?
Each item for bid will have an accompanying bid sheet. The bid sheet will have a minimum bid and minimum bid increment. To bid on an item, just write your name and bid on the form. You can outbid someone by writing your name and a higher bid on the next line of the bid sheet. At 12:00 Noon the bidding ends and if you have the highest bid, the item is yours. You must be present at Noon to claim your item. Payment is made at the end of the auction (cash, check, MasterCard or Visa) and you can take your items with you. Volunteers from WBMUTBB are present to answer any questions.
100% of the proceeds go to the Surry Arts Council in support of Mayberry Days.
