    Pick up or purchase festival tickets, purchase trivia contest entry fans, Mayberry Days T-shirt sales, and register for Checkers Tournament, Pie Eating Contest, and Mayberry "Idle".

    Mayberry Days is officially recognized on Friday morning when Mount Airy's Mayor, City and County officials and other distinguished guests gather at the Blackmon Amphitheatre to acknowledge the importance of the festival and honor the Special Guests.

    Gather at the portico in front of the Andy Griffith Playhouse for a special backstage tour of the Andy Griffith Playhouse from Abigail Linville. Hear about the history of the building and go "behind the scenes" to see backstage, dressing rooms, and special prints and photographs on the walls and hallways. The tour is free.

    Come see a classic movie at an historic theatre during Mayberry Days. Tickets are available at the Earle Box Office starting 30 minutes before the moview begins. Enjoy the best popcorn in town and an old fashion cherry coke.

    Find the perfect "sugar pick-me-up" when you get that "sinkin' spell" late in the day at Aunt Bee's Bake Sale. Lots of homemade goodies and cakes from the kitchen of Aunt Bee and her friends in Mount Airy.

    Special Guests will be available for autographs, photos, and memorabilia sales throughout the festival. Not all guests will be at every location or time, depending on their schedule.

    There is a charge for autographs. Look for the "End of Line" signs for each person.

    Win pickles from Mt. Olive Pickles in the Pickle Toss on Friday. (They're much better than Aunt Bee's kerosene cucumbers).

    "No coffee, tea or punch, thank you." The Chamber Chicks are hosting the social event of the festival. There will be punch and cookies along with answers to questions about about visiting the area (along with proper etiquette, the latest dance, or even the weather).     The parade down Main Street to the Andy Griffith Playhouse is the start off the biggest day of the festival with all the Special Guests, tribute artists, marching bands, TAGSRWC chapters, squad cars and a whole lot of fun!

    Unique Mayberry items including autographed memorabilia and handcrafted items from members of the WBMUTBB online chapter of TAGSRWC are always a part of the auction. Stop by and see things that are not available anywhere else and take home a one-of-kind Mayberry item!

    Auction items are set up after the parade ends and bidding continues until 12:00 Noon. Volunteers are available to help throughout the auction and you must be present at Noon to claim your high bid and purchase your item.

    100% of the proceeds from this annual service project go to the Surry Arts Council to help with the festival.

    Opie's Clubhouse is the newest addition to the family fun at Mayberry Days! Look for the newly renovated picnic area next to the Andy Griffith Playhouse (next to the parking lot). Emily and Bruce Burgess and their talented family will entertain with crafts, face painting, drama, games and photo opportunities.

    Join your friends and family for Sunday brunch at Sagebrush Steakhouse. This has become an annual tradition for many friends (both old and newly made during the festival) to gather for a great meal, share stories from the festival and say good-bye until next year.

    Free Concert

    The Lisemby Family will end Mayberry Days with a special concert at the Blackmon Amphitheatre on Sunday evening. The group consists of three generations of Lisembys - all family - traveling together presenting the Gospel by way of live uplifting music and singing. Many of the songs that they present are original compositions. The Lisembys have 30 recordings to their credit over the years. The Surry Arts Council invites everyone to attend and be blessed.
