Includes country buffet dinner, golf awards presentation and entertainment from the Special Guests and tribute artists.

The stars come out for a big evening of fun after the golf tournament. This is your first chance to meet many of the Special Guests and enjoy a night of music, laughter and good times. The event starts off with some good country cooking in the buffet line and just gets better from there.

Dinner guests have the opportunity to meet the Special Guest at an autograph session from 4:30-6:00 p.m. Avoid the long lines on Saturday! They will have memorabilia, art and photos for autographs (Note: a nominal fee for autographed items during the festival)

The country buffet meal will be served from 5:00-7:00 p.m. David Browning and Allan Newsome, The Mayberry Deputy and Floyd the Barber host the evening of golf awards and entertainment from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Rodney Dillard, one of the original Darling Boys from The Andy Griffith Show, returns with his band to Mayberry Days for a great bluegrass concert, filled wtih songs performed on the show and original Dillards hits. Rodney is a member of the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and two time Grammy Nominee. Dillardgrass - often imitated, never duplicated!

Ronnie Schell returns to Mayberry Days with a special hour of his stand up comedy and showbiz stories in the intimate setting of the Andy Griffith Museum Theatre. As an actor, comedian, and cartoon voice actor, he has plenty of stories and laugh to share, including special ones from his time as Duke Slater on Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.

Following Ronnie's performance, his son, filmaker Greg Schell will present his Mayberry Days "50th Anniversary of TAGS" documentary.

Surfer/Filmmaker Gregory Schell was born in Los Angeles and began making short films as a teenager. Greg began receiving honors in filmmaking in the 7th grade. His films have played in numerous international film festivals, sold thousands of DVD copies worldwide, and been written up in over twenty magazines and is currently airing on FUEL TV, the action sports based network fun by Fox. Greg’s Mayberry Days documentary is a flashback to “a simpler time and a sweeter place” and will be featured at Thalian Hall in Wilmington the week prior to Mayberry Days.

Neal Brower has acquired a wealth of knowledge about The Andy Griffith Show from his years of correspondence and contact with the cast members and crews. He has been coordinating with Clint Howard for this year's lecture and will share the many stories of Clint's young life with the Howard family during the filming of The Andy Griffith Show. Don't miss this facinating discussion with answers to insightful questions and clips from the show.

Neal Brower is the author of Mayberry 101 and taught "The Andy Griffith Show: An Indepth Study" at Community Colleges throughout North Carolina for many years. His lectures are also presented at the Andy Griffith Museum during the year.

The Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club meeting will follow afterward and everyone is invited to join. Hear the year in review and what is in store for the upcoming year from the "Presiding Goober, Emeritus" and founding member of the club, Jim Clark. You also have the opportunity to learn more about the activities of the year, what is on the calendar for upcoming events, meet other TAGSRWC Chapters and members, share what your chapter has been doing and other interesting trivial trivialities. Floyd and Otis will be awarding trophies to the contest winners and annual club awards.

Jim Clark is a freelance writer from Nashville, TN and author of many books, including Aunt Bee's Mayberry Cookbook and many other Mayberry related books.
