Directions from the major routes into Mount Airy are listed below. You can download the Fiddlers Convention / Mount Airy Map to help you get around town.
From I-77
Exit 100 to Highway 89 East into Mount
Airy. Pass under US 52 and turn LEFT at the next traffic light onto
Independence Blvd. Cross the railroad tracks and turn LEFT at the traffic
light at the top of the hill onto N. South St. Turn LEFT at the traffic
light onto W. Lebanon Street. The entrance to the park will be just ahead
on your left.
From I-74
Take Exit 11 to Highway 601 into Mount
Airy. Hwy 601 turns into Rockford Street. Cross the Andy Griffith Parkway
(US 52) and the railroad tracks. Turn LEFT onto N. South Street and take
that to W. Lebanon Street. Turn LEFT and the entrance to the park will be
just ahead on your left.
From Highway 52 North (Virginia)
Take the Andy Griffith Parkway (US 52)
to the traffic light at Business 52 (W. Lebanon St) and turn LEFT
(National Guard Armory is on the right at that light). Follow W. Lebanon
Street approximately one mile to the park entrance on your
right.
From Highway 52 South (Winston-Salem)
Continue on the Andy Griffith Parkway (US 52) to Starlite Road, one mile north of the Mayberry Mall on your right. Look for the "giant man" sign at the Starlight Rd intersection. Continue on Starlight Road and turn RIGHT onto W. Lebanon Street. Go 0.5 miles to entrance to the park on your right.
